President's Message

Welcome to the official website of the Denison Firefighters Association Local 69. Since 1876 Denison Fire Rescue has proudly served the city. From the bucket brigade to the horse drawn pumper, to the modern day fire truck we have protected the citizens and the city: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Being a Denison fire fighter is not just a job to these professionals, it a way of life. These brave firefighters do not think twice when it comes to putting their life on the line to ensure the safety of each and every citizen.

This association protects the rights of its members through building relationships with the leaders of our community. We the members have a strong tie to this community and embrace our history of delivering exceptional emergency service to the people. We meet challenges and goals every year with our community in mind first and foremost. We will continue to strive to meet these goals and do our absolute best now and in the future.

As President of the Denison Firefighters Association Local 069, it is my intention to represent our members with integrity and honor. The health and safety of every member is my primary concern. Our local 069 with effective influence and relationships in both the community and local government will allow us to maintain the standard of excellence to keep our members and citizens safe.
